AA alumna Yuyang Cheng's graduation project in AAIS, The Floating life Performance 山海浮生, has been announced as an award winner in the London New Wave Film Festival 2022 and officially selected by the Berlin Shorts award 2022.

The Floating Life Performance is a multi-sensory spatial performance designed and directed by Cheng. The project combines music, interactive media, performance and installation with fabric and structure to create an immersive experience. The performance explores body landscape and space poetics in nature and city under the oriental context.

The Floating Life Performance is also part of AAIS’s March event, ECHO 1.0 and will appear in the Edinburgh Fringe festival 2022.
