A group of Hong Kong-based AA alumni took part in a yacht race organised by the Royal Hong Kong Yacht Club on Sunday 18 December 2022. The event brought together alumni from various academic institutions to celebrate and promote the sport of sailing to the public, with the aim of building cross-institutional relationships.

Raymond Chui led the team as deputy Skipper for the race, standing in for fellow alumnus and former team lead Claude Wong; preparations and training sessions were organised by a committee of alumni comprising Michelle Choi, Hoi-Chi Ng, Carson Leung and Chui. The team sailed aboard Generations, a boat generously lent by Eddy Lee, and comprised AA alummi Lester Cheung, Michelle Choi, Raymond Chui, Jane Ho, Carson Leung, Hoi-Chi Ng, Colin Ridley and Elaine Tsui.
