Bálint Bakos, who graduated from Sustainable Environmental Design programme in 2018, has been awarded a Paper Commendation for his presentation at PLEA 2020 International Conference in La Coruna on ‘Scalable Design Framework for Sustainable Urban Housing’. The paper was based on his MSc dissertation and analyses overlapping crises of housing, poverty and climate in Lagos, Nigeria, proposing alternative architectural models that might solve these problems.
