AA alumnus Damian Figueras (2008) has been selected as a finalist for the Spanish Biennale of Architecture and Urbanism for his project MIQ, a rehabilitated single-family house in the old town of Sarriá, Barcelona.

The theme of this year’s Spanish Biennale of Architecture and Urbanism was ‘Empty Spain, Full Spain. Reconciliation Strategies’. The programme aims to reflect on the conciliatory capacities of architecture and urban planning in relation to the different territorial realities that exist within Spain today.
