AA alumnus Mark Raymond has been selected to deliver the keynote speech at this year's Museums Association of the Caribbean Conference on Wednesday 3 November. The theme of Raymond’s address will be ‘Soon Come: Anticipating Memory’, which will focus on the role that museums and architecture can play in coming to terms with the past and reimagining a better future.
The Trinidad and Tobago-born Raymond graduated from the AA in London and worked in Europe with Norman Foster, Conran and Ulrike Brandi before returning to the Caribbean where he served as President of The Trinidad and Tobago Institute of Architects. He has recently relocated to the University of Johannesburg in South Africa under the appointment of Director of the Graduate School of Architecture.
The conference will run virtually from Wednesday 3 November – Friday 5 November.
