AA alumnus Richard Kroeker has been awarded a 2022 World Architecture Festival Award for Muscowpetung powwow arbour, a cultural venue for an Indigenous Saulteaux Community in Muscowpetung, Saskatchewan, Canada.

The project is a collaboration between Dalhousie University Professor Emeritus and AA alumnus Richard Kroeker and OXBOW Architecture. The pow wow arbour has been designed to be built by the local community and will host dance and music festivals.
