Students of the AA’s Design and Make taught postgraduate programme, based at Hooke Park in Dorset, have created and installed a 1:1 scale built prototype for the Architecture Room in the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition. Included under the theme ‘Making is Thinking’, their installation is titled The Tree and the Truss. Emmanuel Vercruysse, co-head of the Design and Make programme, will be in conversation with other practitioners at the Royal Academy on Friday 16 June for the Summer Exhibition Architecture Afternoon event.
