Nerma Cridge will chair the Collaborative and Interdisciplinary Practice Award at the Interior Educators Summer Show in Shoreditch, London, on Thursday 4 July. The collaborative award spotlights projects which explore interdisciplinary design practices between communities, programmes, disciplines and institutions. The award ceremony will accompany a private view on the same day of nine shortlisted projects which all exhibit innovative and imaginative ways of working together. Additionally, on Friday 28 June, Nerma presented a paper entitled The Work of (Public) Art in the Age of Mass Protests: Candy Necklace or Urban Noose at the conference, Livable Cities, in City University of London organized by AMPS. The paper discusses how protests affect contemporary public art spaces and impact on the liveability of our cities. For more information, click here.
