AA First Year Tutor Michela Falcone is included in the Italian Pavilion exhibition for the 2025 Biennale di Venezia with the work entitled Sicily of the sea, Sicily of the land – a project by Sicily Lab. This is a four-year project exploring the relationship between Sicilian culture and its sea.

The work of Sicily Lab focuses on targeted interventions designed to uncover elements of both the past and the present, creating physical and immaterial connections, evoking memories, and imagining future possibilities. Participation is at the heart of all initiatives, fostered through dialogue with institutions and citizens alike. The projects are self-built and developed using sustainable resources and digital tools. The installations are ephemeral: they are created for an event and vanish after just a few hours.
