Lemonot, the studio of AA Foundation Programme Tutor Sabrina Morreale, is presenting the first edition of RUINS, a three-year project of artistic and cultural production to give new life to the Monumental Complex of Santa Croce, Bosco Marengo, Alessandria. During their residency, Lemonot, together with artists established a dialogue with the spaces, the history of the site and the surroundings, as well as with their own works, which interact throughout the exhibition.

The result is an interweaving of stories and perspectives, where the work reflects the layered past of the historic complex, personal memories and ancient legends. The artworks exhibited bring light to narratives that would otherwise risk disappearing, giving the site a new contemporary dimension. The exhibition invites reflection on the concept of ruin and rebirth, understood as an alternating process of past and present.
