AA Head of Sustainable Environmental Design (SED) Paula Cadima has been invited to speak at. The PhD seminar Neighborhoods in Transition II: Potentials of urban slopes in a post-carbon perspective in Lausanne, Switzerland. Organised by the Laboratory of Architecture and Sustainable Technologies (LAST) within the axis Integrated Design, Architecture and Sustainability (IDEAS) and in partnership with the AA, the PhD seminar will explore the potentials of urban slopes in the context of a post-carbon society. Combining architecture, urban studies and sustainability, it engages doctoral students in understanding sloping neighbourhoods through case studies, lectures, and discussions.
