Two students at the AA have been awarded RIBA Wren Insurance Association Scholarships, which provide £6,000 of support to Part 2 students who ‘have the potential to make a significant contribution in the field of architecture.’ Richard Aina and Hunter Doyle, both 4th-year AA Diploma students were awarded scholarships alongside students from the RCA and LSA. The prizes were awarded by a judging panel including Albena Atanassova (Scott Brownrigg), David Hills (DSDHA), Suzette Vela Burkett (Aukett Swanke), David Gloster (RIBA Director of Education).
David Stanford, chairman of the Wren Insurance Association commented that "the standard of entries this year was, if anything, even higher than previous years and I would like to congratulate the five winners and wish them continued good fortune as they commence their final year studies in difficult circumstances."
