AA tutor and alum Marko Milovanovic recently presented his ongoing project Temptation of Influence at the Architecture at the Edge Festival in Galway, Ireland. This project explores architectural culture as a dialogic discipline across time and continents, centred around the work of Irish architect Shane de Blacam and Irish architectural culture more broadly.

As part of the festival, Marko chaired a conversation with RA Architecture Prize winner Shane de Blacam and Alice Casey and Cian Deegan of TAKA Architects. He also presented his work in the domain of time-based media, which included the work of AA Intermediate 7.

The research, production and showcasing of Marko’s work is supported by the Royal Academy of Arts and Architecture at the Edge, with funding from the Arts Council Ireland and the British Council.

Marko’s project Temptation of Influence will conclude with his first feature-length film, set to premiere next year. The film will document the work undertaken during the study.
