David Kohn Architects have been included in the exhibition Hollein Calling: Architectural Dialogues at the Archtitekturzentrum Wien. The exhibition investigates the ‘Hollein phenomenon from a contemporary perspective, re-evaluating the work and its relevance to current discourse through a dialogue with a younger generation of architects.’

Curators Lorenzo deChiffre, Theresa Kren and Benni Eder, pair works by celebrated Austrian architect Hans Hollein (1934–2014) with projects by fifteen contemporary European practices: Almannai Fischer, baukuh, Bovenbouw, Claudia Cavallar, Aslı Çiçek, Conen Sigl, David Kohn Architects, doorzon, Expanded Design, Martin Feiersinger, Kühn Malvezzi, Lütjens Padmanabhan, Manthey Kula, Monadnock and OFFICE Kersten Geers David Van Severen.

The exhibition runs from 21 September 2023 – 12 February 2024. A book accompanies the exhibition with interviews by the curators of the exhibiting architects and is available from Park Books here.
