Lucy Styles, unit master of ‘One Ordinary and Another’ (Diploma 15) has been awarded the 2020 Premio Italiano di Architettura at Zaha Hadid’s MAXXI Museum in Rome. The prize is awarded by the MAXXI, the Triennale Milano and the Italian Ministry of Culture and Tourism. Styles won for her installation ‘Hoe Sweet Home’, which won the 8th edition of YAP Rome, the Young Architects Programme.

The installation, outside the MAXXI, will be open to the public until 25 October. MAXXI senior curator, Pippo Ciorra, commented that ‘architecture is the aim to produce meaning through form, addressing intimate & public issues in space. London based Lucy Styles wonderfully achieved such task with ‘Home Sweet Home’
