AA tutor Maria Fedorchenko and co-author Andrea Dutto have published a chapter on Hypostatization in the manual Construction and Design: Experimental Diagrams in Architecture.

Fedorchenko and Dutto join an international network of contributors to critically delineate diagrams in architectural history and to outline future trajectories. They curate and analyse diagrams generated in the AA Diploma Units as potential revisions of the legacy of the ‘decorated diagrams’ in architecture, while offering new specific design formulae. Linking individual academic results, they suggest means to link diagrams and plans while liberating projects of interior and exterior.
