Dr Mark Campbell (AA tutor for Histories and Theories and Projective Cities) has been appointed to the Academic and International Peer Review Colleges of the UK Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC). This four-year appointment is in recognition of Dr Campbell’s excellence in research and he joins AHRC Colleges, whose membership is drawn from higher education institutions and independent research organisations in the United Kingdom and overseas. The AHRC is part of UK Research and Innovation – a funding body that works in partnership with universities, research organisations, businesses, charities, and government to create the best possible environment for research and innovation to flourish. This body operates across the whole of the UK and has a combined research budget of more than £6 billion.
