Nerma Cridge, an alumna of the AA PhD programme and a tutor on the Architecture and Urbanism (DRL) programme at the school, will present a paper at the forthcoming Heritage in Danger: EAHN-KOYA-HD2023 conference at Koya University in Iraq this month. Her paper, titled ‘War Aesthetics’, questions the role of the architect within violent conflict, addressing Lebbeus Woods’ Sarajevo drawings and examples of the work of Zaha Hadid Architects.
