Stefan Laxness, who teaches ‘Third Territorial Attractor’ (DIP 9) has exhibited his work at the Ars Electronica festival and the LABoral Centro de Art y Creación. At Ars Electronica he exhibited his film ‘Learning from The Commons: a keystone towards a rewilded Future’, Stefan described it as follows:

‘Surveying a cross-section of rural Spain through geographic information systems and on-site sensing techniques, the investigation identifies spatial conditions which reveal shifts in territorial occupation considering systemic challenges: land abandonment, depopulation and climate stress. By understanding rewilding as a process of negotiation and transformation, Stefan seeks to reveal the latent potential of our rural areas and explore our relationship as rewilded citizens with architecture, land and wilderness.’
