Mcmullan studio, founded by AA Diploma graduate Andrew Mcmullan has been declared joint winner of the Europan 15 competition to design a masterplan for the Austrian City of Innsbruck. The Mcmullan proposal, entitled ‘Healthy City’ focused on ensuring the health and happiness of the inhabitants of the city in part through redevelopment of a waterfront market hall.

Europan is the world’s largest biennial design competition for young designers. The competition is open to multidisciplinary teams based in Europe and under 40 years of age. Europan 15, the latest Europan competition, sought proposals for 47 urban sites across 12 countries and received more than 1,240 entries.
