Clara Oloriz Sanjuan, who is cohead of AA Ground Lab and a tutor in the AA’s Landscape Urbanism programme, has contributed to a new publication titled Merging City and Nature: 30 Commitments to Combat Climate Change, published by Actar. Oloriz was interviewed for the book by Actar editor Ricardo Devesa with Joan Batlle from Batlle i Roig architects.

The publication was presented in the Mirador Hall of the CCCB (Centre de Cultura Contemporània de Barcelona) earlier this year, where Oloriz joined architects Joan Busquets, professor at Harvard University and Martha Thorne, professor at the IE School of Architecture and Design, for a debate with journalist Llàtzer Moix on the role of architecture in the face of the main challenges of the climate emergency and the need to improve the planet's living conditions.
