The Architectural Association is deeply shocked and saddened to learn that Jade Andrea Young, who attended a postgraduate course in Building Conservation at the AA between 2007 and 2009, was one of the victims of the knife attack at the Bondi Junction Mall in Sydney, Australia, on Saturday 13 April. The 47-year-old mother of two worked at various architecture offices in London between 2004 and 2010 before returning to her home country. Since 2012 she had been part of Georgina Wilson Associates’ team in Sydney. On behalf of everyone at the AA, our deepest condolences to her family and friends.
