It is with great sadness that the AA has learned that John Miller CBE has passed away. John graduated from the AA with Honours in 1956 and served on the AA Council from 1966–67. John remained an AA Member throughout his life from 1950, and in 1961, founded Colquhoun + Miller with British architect Alan Colquhoun. John’s wife, Su Rogers, joined them in the practice in 1986.
Throughout his architectural career, John was known for participating in major projects including Tate Britain, the extension and renovation of the Whitechapel Gallery, the renovation of the Serpentine Gallery and the Scottish National Gallery, as well as Newham College and the extensions of the Fitzwilliam Museum in Cambridge.
