Material Cultures is set to open an exhibition titled Homegrown: Building a Post-carbon Future at the Building Centre in London on Friday 20 January.

Material Culture is a not-for-profit organisation led by AA alumna Summer Islam, Paloma Gormley and AA alumnus and tutor George Massoud that investigates and advocates for the use of bio-based materials in the built environment.

Homegrown: Building a Post-carbon Future will consist of three commissioned films created by the creative trio that ask how we can critically reassess our relationship with the built environment by engaging with our landscapes and its materials holistically.
