AA PhD graduate and tutor, Nerma Cridge, has been invited to lecture at the KUMA International Spring School in Sarajevo. KUMA International is a non-profit research centre specialising in aesthetics and the visual arts in the aftermath of war and violence. This year’s spring school is titled Transformation and Transformed, marking the 25^th anniversary of the Srebrenica genocide. Through lectures and workshops the event will constitute a visual journey through history, memory and identity to explore the visual, spatial and aesthetic aftermath of the conflict in the region.
