RESOLVE, the collective practice of Akil Scafe-Smith and Seth Scafe-Smith who lead Intermediate Unit 4 at the AA, has been commissioned by the Barbican for an exhibition and public programme in The Curve gallery that reconsiders collective organisation within and beyond institutions. Titled ‘them’s the breaks’, it encompasses a large-scale installation and an events series that will bring the public together with artists, activists, writers, DJs and designers to occupy the gallery space and investigate the structural decline and radical reimagining of systems, buildings and institutions.

The exhibition and programme runs from 30 March until 16 July 2023. Read more on the Barbican website.
