Acclaimed Spanish architect Ricardo Bofill has died at the age of 82. Born in 1939, Bofill is most famous for founding one of the world’s most influential architecture studios, Ricardo Bofill Taller de Arquitectura (RBTA).
Bofill was renowned for his radical approach which focused on addressing issues of urban planning on a social and political level.
In 2015 Bofill gave a lecture at the AA, touching on his legacy and the contributions he made to the global architecture community. What the lecture here.
