Constantly exchanging particles with its environment, dust is open, has no traceable beginning, knows no interior and exterior. Dust gathers and it leaves itself behind, in a mutual exchange with its place. Dust can be a fragment, fragmented, or an accumulation. The talk discusses the idea of dust in relation to architecture, the body and the city. The talk will be followed by a discussion with Joel McKim (Birkbeck - Architecture, Space and Society Centre)
