Unravelled, a film by Unknown Fields – the creative practice of Kate Davies, Head of Hooke Park at the AA, and Liam Young, is currently on show as part of The Offbeat Sari exhibition at the Design Museum in London. The film reveals the challenges faced by traditional craftmanship in the textile industries in the face of the rising popularity of ‘fast fashion’, and incorporates a fabric-based installation artwork created in collaboration with a network of artists in India.
