Colin Buchanan and Partners are an international consultancy practice specialising in transport planning and urban design. They were formed in 1964s by UK town planner and theorist, Colin Buchanan, and at the height of their success employed around 300 staff. Colin retired from the company in 1984 and it was subsequently chaired by his son, Malcolm Buchanan. After a merger with Sinclair Knight Merz in 2011, the practice has become known as SKM Colin Buchanan.
