AA tutor Mark E Breeze, unit master of Experimental 17, has been selected as an officially-designated NGO observer at the United Nations Climate Change Conference 2021 (COP26) as part of his role as a Board Director and Founding Chair of UK Sustainability at the American Institute of Architects (AIA).

As one of four architects chosen, Breeze will be invited into the innermost ‘blue zone’ of discussions where he will be pushing policymakers and industry professionals to take meaningful action on climate change. This will be a key opportunity for architects to play a decisive role in action on climate change.
