We are pleased to announce the appointment of Dr Ingrid Schroder as the new Director of the Architectural Association School of Architecture. The announcement follows a vote by students, faculty and Council members in line with the school’s constitution. Ingrid is currently Director of the MPhil in Architecture and Urban Design at the University of Cambridge and will take up the role of Director of the AA in August 2022, in time for the start of the next academic year.

We wish to congratulate Ingrid on her election, and also wish to sincerely thank Professor Andrew Clancy, Dr Mark Morris, John Palmesino and Ann-Sofi Rönnskog, and Professor Jill Stoner for their candidacy, their time and the presentation of their ideas for the future of the AA.
