Christopher, known as Chris, has a long history at Hooke Park. Before becoming part of the AA team in 2001, he had worked since the early 1980s for the Parnham Trust, the previous owners of the woodland. His role at Hooke Park has always related to managing the woodland; he has seen the development of the campus since its inception and was involved with sourcing the timbers for all the buildings. Beginning as a chainsaw operator, he now works as Hooke Park’s Forester and is responsible for the management of its forestry operations and related activities. Chris lives locally and until 2025 was accompanied at work by his cheekily behaved terrier, Treasure – a longstanding and well-loved member of the Hooke Park community.
