See MoreArya is an architect and AA graduate whose work navigates the intersections of design, research and pedagogy. He is founder of Arya Safavi Experience (ASX), Associate Director at Zaha Hadid Architects (ZHA) and Unit Tutor at the AA. He holds a BArch from the University of Westminster and an AA Diploma where he currently coteaches Intermediate 18. Since joining ZHA in 2014, Arya has led the design, development and delivery of major projects across global contexts, typologies and scales. His academic research at the AA aligns with his practice, focusing on systematic design methodologies, hybrid material assemblies, computational approaches and calibrated performance.
