See MoreMariam is an architect, educator and researcher specialising in sustainable environmental design, building performance and low-carbon architecture. She teaches in the Sustainable Environmental Design (SED) programme at the AA and is a certified Passivhaus Designer. Mariam has practiced architecture in London and Athens, and has led projects ranging from education and housing to complex EnerPHit retrofits. She has contributed to the development of Architype’s performance consultancy and carbon analysis tool, and her research spans passive design, climate resilience and post-occupancy evaluation.
