Kyi Sein is recorded as a Burmese student studying on the Architectural Association’s Department of Tropical Architecture course for 1960-61. Funded by the British Council, he appears to have returned to his home country after graduation. He was subsequently selected as the architect (with Harry Aung) of the Burmese Pavilion for Expo ’67 in Montreal, Canada.
