Mohed H. El Amin is recorded as a Sudanese student enrolled in 1963 on the inaugural year of the ‘Educational Building’ course run by the Architectural Association’s Department of Tropical Studies, in London. El Amin successfully completed the sixth-month, post-graduate course in February 1964 and appears to have returned to Sudan where he is recorded as working in the architectural section of the Ministry of Works, based in Khartoum, from before 1969 until at least 1979.
