Hashim M. Osman is recorded as a Sudanese student enrolled on the ‘General Course’ run in 1965-66 by the Architectural Association’s (AA) Department of Tropical Studies, in London. He successfully graduated from the course with a Certificate in Tropical Studies, his final thesis project being on the topic of ‘Hospitals for the Sudan’. Little is yet known to us regarding his subsequent career other than that by 1969 he was employed by the Architectural Section of the Ministry of Works, in Khartoum.
