Hamad Elnil Mugbil is recorded as a Sudanese student enrolled on the 1966-67 postgraduate ‘General Design’ course run by the Architectural Association’s Department of Development and Tropical Studies, in London. He successfully completed the course and was awarded an AA Postgraduate Diploma in July 1967. He appears to have almost immediately returned to Sudan, working within the Architectural Section of the Ministry of Works, in Khartoum by 1969 – and remaining in the Ministry until at least 1979. Details of his subsequent life and career are not yet known to us.
