Antonio Roxas Arguelles is recorded as having graduated with a BSc in Architecture from the University of Santo Tomas, in Manila, in the early 1950s. He then appears to have continued his training with a local architect, before being awarded a Colombo Plan scholarship to attend the six-month postgraduate course at the Architectural Association’s Department of Tropical Architecture, in London in 1956-1957.
