Joseph Swamy is a Fijian architect who appears, according to the Handbook of Fiji, to have been based and practicing in Lami, Fiji until 1968. He is recorded in the Architectural Association Student Register as having enrolled in the Department of Tropical Architecture (DTA) post-graduate course in the 1969-70 session, with a specialization in educational buildings, and successfully receiving his DTA certificate in 1970. By 1971, he seems to have returned to Fiji and worked for the Public Works Department in Suva.
