Jaime Arturo Ortez Hernandez was born in El Salvador and gained a BArch degree at the Colonia Universitaria Norte in San Salvador, graduating c1965. He is then recorded as enrolled on the 1970-71 postgraduate programme run by the Architectural Association’s (AA) Department of Development and Tropical Studies, in London. He was tutored by Michael Safier and duly completed the course, graduating in the summer of 1971. Details of his subsequent career are not  yet known to us.
