Sa’ad Abdul Rahman Al-Zubaidi is recorded as an Iraqi student at the Architectural Association, London, between 1970-1971, when he was enrolled in the postgraduate Department of Development and Tropical Studies. According to the AA Student Register, Al-Zubaidi was part of the tutorial group run by Mario Novella and subsequently graduated in 1971 with a Diploma in Development and Tropical Studies. Little has been found regarding his subsequent career but the AA Membership Lists indicate that he was living in Baghdad, Iraq, between at least 1974-1979.
