Indonesian student, Mr Soemarsono, is recorded as enrolling in the Architectural Association’s Department of Tropical Architecture (DTA) six-month, post-graduate course in 1956-57. His place on the course appears to have been funded through the Colombo Plan, together with his Indonesian compatriot, Mr Soewoko, who was also a student at the DTA in the same year. According to notes on his student record, within the Otto Koenigsberger Collection, Soemarsono had received a Bachelors engineering degree and worked for the Indonesian Ministry of Public Works and Power, within the Department of Buildings.
