Born in Rochford, Essex, in 1931, Trevor Lee joined the Architectural Association in 1953, enrolling in the AA Fourth Year. As part of his final year’s studies, in 1954-1955, Lee joined the first cohort of the newly formed AA Department of Tropical Architecture. Immediately after graduating with an AA Diploma, Lee worked for the Scottish Division of the National Coal Board but details of his subsequent career, to his death in Sweden in 2003, are not known to us.
