Caspar Bailey is exhibiting his ceramic works at Hackney Downs Studios this month as part of a group show by the art collective Wondering People. The exhibition is titled Meet Me in the Middle, and is held in collaboration with The Radford Gallery; fellow exhibitors include Abhishek Khedekar, Anyaa Dev, Eddie Olin, EJR Barnes, Holly Mills, Jaclyn Pappalardo, Katy Brett, Lewis Kemmenoe, Owen Davies, Rose Shuckburgh and Yiwei Xu.

In addition to his role as a Junior Graphic Designer in the AA Communications Studio, Caspar Bailey is a ceramic artist; drawing on a range of architectural references, he uses the slab building technique to construct forms that explore the boundaries between functional and sculptural objects. Each piece is made by hand, allowing the seemingly mechanical sculptures to display a subtle yet purposeful human touch.
