Tarik Al Jeda is recorded as an Iraqi student, enrolled in the 1962-63 postgraduate course run by the Architectural Association (AA) Department of Tropical Studies. Two student schemes he collaborated on, for schools in Lagos and in Baghdad, were published in the AA Journal in April 1963. Al Jeda remained in the UK after graduating, getting married in Birmingham in late 1964. His subsequent career is not known to us beyond the fact that by the late 1990s he was living in Qatar and in 1998 was a founder and Partner of ‘Diwar Al Emara, Architects, Engineers and Planners’, a major Doha-based firm, sponsored by Sheik Thani Feisal QF Al Thani.
