Ashok Kulkarni is recorded as an Indian student enrolled on the Architectural Association’s Department of Tropical Architecture postgraduate course for 1963-64. He is listed as having applied for ‘lectures only’ meaning that he was not eligible to receive the Department of Tropical Studies Certificate. Details of his subsequent career are not yet known to us but he was still in London in 1965, when he is recorded living at Parliament Hill, together with his Department of Tropical Studies classmate, Vinayak Anant Pradham.
