Ashok Patel is recorded as an Indian student enrolled on the ‘General Course’ run in 1965-66 by the Architectural Association’s (AA) Department of Tropical Studies, in London. He successfully completed the course, with his final thesis project being on the topic of ‘Low Cost Housing in Baroda, India’. Little is known to us regarding his subsequent career other than that by 1969 he was giving the practice of Talib-Patel Associates, in Baroda (now Vadodara), as his corresponding address.
