
Tagelsir Ahmed Beshir Tambal is recorded as a Sudanese student enrolled on the 1968-69 postgraduate ‘Educational Building’ course run by the Architectural Association’s (AA) Department of Development and Tropical Studies in London. He successfully completed his studies and was formally awarded a Diploma of Graduate Studies in Tropical Architecture in July 1969. He appears to have returned to Sudan, teaching at the Department of Architecture, within the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Khartoum until at least c1980. In 1981 he is also noted as employed on the teaching staff at the College of Architecture and Planning, King Faisal University, Saudi Arabia.
